“ Stopped by Molly's Maguire's while exploring Jim Thorpe. There's a meaningful plaque and statue right outside the entrance, adding to the charm. Molly's offers both indoor and outdoor seating, each with its own bar. A long line formed early, so plan ahead. We enjoyed our time inside, especially thanks to the bartender, who made a delicious cosmo with a vibrant fruity color. The waffle fries were a bit overcooked, but the atmosphere made up for it. With a TouchTunes jukebox available, we had fun picking our own tunes. Great spot to unwind in town! ”
“ This place was a great lunch spot! Lots of cool beers, good pub food, and a great atmosphere. Our server was very nice as well! ”
“ We ate here Tuesday June 11th. Food was good. I had the chicken wings appetizer, my dad (who is polish) had the pierogies (also really good) and my mom had the tater kings with bacon in them...they are huge (you get 5 on a plate). We all had the Mauch Chunk Lager... I highly recommend it. (We went on a Tuesday, when other establishments were closed so there was a wait for a table.) ”
“ Stopped by this place last week while waiting for my scheduled train ride. The inside had a wait, so we were directed outside to eat under the tint. Food was pretty good. Nothing special but was definitely good enoght to eat. I only had an order of wings. My husband had a burger with fries & veggie potstickers. I tried the potstickers & they were good. The drinks were good too but you could barely taste any alcohol. The best part of our visit was the service we received from our waitress Liz. She was the sweetest & most attentive waitress! She checked on us frequently & made sure we didnt wait long for anything. Such a gem & they are lucky to have her ”
“ Always our first stop in Jim Thorpe to warm up with some French onion soup. Very deep beef flavor while a little sweeter than most soups but very very cheesy with soaked croutons inside! Tater kegs were good, nice smokey bacon and the side of horseradish dipping sauce made it. Very busy bar prepping for the fall crowds but the service was kind and drinks were quick. Check out the inside bar it has old wood along with stone. ”
“ Impromptu, later dinner option, arriving around 8pm. We chose to eat on the deck. There was still seating available despite heading into the peak fall tourist season. I enjoyed a local chocolate peanut butter porter. My husband and I shared the tater kegs & he had wings I enjoyed the shrimp. Service was polite and timely. ”
